Settling Up

1 bald spot + 1 thirty year old = zero chance at love. If there’s one thing statistics professor, Lauren Sinclair knows, it’s probability. And she understands her current equation all too well. Desperate to get herself back into the dating game, Lauren relies on statistical analysis and a ridiculously detailed list to help her find the perfect man. Her friend Mack thinks it sounds like she’s trying to find a car instead of a husband. What does he know? He’s a tattooed, totally-not-her-type Blackjack dealer. But maybe this professor needs to learn that love is more than a numbers game.

  1. Sweet, Funny Romance/Chick Lit Hybrid “Settling Up” was a very fun, sweet (as opposed to saucy) romance with a difference. Our heroine is a recently tenured statistics professor who has developed stress-induced alopecia (as an early-career academic, oh, how I empathize!). She also doesn’t have a man, or a family, and is starting to think that maybe she needs that. She goes to a friend for advice, but ends up talking with Mr. Wrong, except that…is he Mr. Right? And will they both realize it before Lauren allows her…

  2. SO FLIPPING FUN! SO FUN! I adored this book and couldn’t put it down. It was everything a fun romance should be. It didn’t feel forced– instead the characters were genuine, HILARIOUS, and I was rooting for them from scene one. I know most women can relate to waking up and realizing, crap, I’m getting old. I have read other books of Eryn Scott, but this was hands down my favorite. SO FREAKING CUTE!

  3. Great Read! First of all this book is hilarious, especially Lauren our heroine. It’s a nontypical boy meets girl love story. Nontypical mainly due to the specialness that is mathematical genius Lauren. If you enjoy really good humorous romances this book is definitely for you. Very lol funny!
