  1. Some delightful stories here I’ve been reading a lot of anthologies lately, including another of the several “Year’s Best” collections (the Jonathan Strahan one). I was pleased to find that, unlike some of the others, this one matched my tastes fairly well for the most part. 

  2. Good collection of SFF This is a good anthology of SFF, but not quite as good as that put together by Jonathan Strahan in The Best Science Fiction and Fantasy of the Year #8. The most notable stories are Blanchefleur by Theodora Goss; A Stranger from a Foreign Ship by Tom Purdom; The Dragonslayer of Merebarton by K.J. Parker; Loss, with Chalk Diagrams by E. Lily Yu; Martyr’s Gem by C.S.E. Cooney; Game of Chance by Carrie Vaughn; A Brief History of the Trans-Pacific Tunnel by Ken Liu; Out in the Dark by Linda Nagata;…
