The Highlander’s Hope: A Contemporary Highland Romance (THE HUNT) (Volume 1)

When Dr. Catriona Ross discovers clues to a long lost highland treasure, her only hope of finding the jewels is to obtain the help of Scotland’s most eligible bachelor and playboy, Iain MacCraigh. Iain can’t believe his luck when he finds out the jewels are hidden away somewhere on his land– and it doesn’t hurt that the historian looking for them has curves to go with her smarts. With his brother betting the family fortune, this is the life line he desperately needs. The odds are against them, and with word getting out about the jewels, they’re not the only ones on the hunt. Time’s running out, but can they learn to trust each other, or will they lose the jewels and true love in the process? *This is Book One in the series.*

  1. Light predictable read Pleasant light read with a very predictable plot. Characters were interesting and likable. English academia lass, Cat with Scottish heritage comes to Scotland to find lost jewels said to have historical significance in the Scottish rebellion. She has tracked the jewels to land owned by Highland Laird Iain (gorgeous, rich and with a womanizer reputation) and meets with him to gain permission to search. Sparks fly, love and lust is in the air and of course their are obstacles in the way to…

  2. Great read ! Great read filled with genuine romance, I enjoyed seeing the characters grow into love then just instantly being in love. The mystery and flow of the story is great and I cant wait to read the next book of the Highland Series. However, please note you dont have to buy book 2 to find out the ending of The Highlander’s Hope so you arent tricked into having to buy another to get your happily ever after.

  3. Almost didn’t finish – lacked depth of anything Unimaginative and lack of details in the “clues” she keeps referring to. Wordy in telling you everything instead of showing you. and fails to draw you in. Characterization inconsistent.so cliche it was painful
