  1. Next please! I have been a fan of Dalglish for a long time now. I have read all of his Valdaren books and loved the world he built. When I saw he was introducing a new world, I was interested to see if he could hold my attention the way Haern and all his other characters have. Sine I read this new 450page book in 2 days, I would say that was a yes. I couldn’t put it down! What a great world he has built and a very interesting concept with the Seraphim. If you haven’t read Dalglish before, you will ove this…

  2. Great new series Best David Dalglish book so far! Can’t wait for the sequels. This is a well-developed book with a faster pace obviously written to sync with the latest young adult audiences. If you like Sanderson, Maas, or the rest of the up-and-coming young writers, you will love this book. Good characters, different world concept, unique mechanics, and hints of steampunk. I read extensively and still found myself surprised by a few plot twists. Very good book from an author to keep your eye on.
