When Little Ideas Become Passions
When the ideas started coming about creating a writers community, building a network of publishing industry professionals in Phoenix, they were initially pushed back. To much else to do first.
As time passed and the other things got done, the idea of the community kept coming back.
Interestingly, during the time we were spending getting all those other things done, we were, in a lot of ways, laying the foundation for this idea.
So now, we’re here.
The other stuff is done. The building bought, the remodel done, the move complete. Regular business has getting into its full swing and the idea is now front and center.
We are so excited about this idea, this topic of conversation that was discussed and put out to the universe is coming back and bringing all the right people and opportunities along with it.
And there’s room for more! If you’re ready to take your writing related business to the level of speaking to writers or leading a workshop for authors, here’s your opportunity. If you are a publishing professional speaker or workshop leader in need of an audience, here’s your opportunity. If you’re an author with a great story to share about your journey of writing and publishing to motivate or inspire authors, here’s your opportunity.
I would like to invite those who support the publishing industry to come speak about what it is you do. Do you provide social media services to authors – or small business owners? Authors with published books are small business owners! Come talk about what you do, share some of your expertise and “insider secrets” to a new audience. Network with people who are interested in what you do – grow your business!
We’re still in development stages and progressing quickly. Things and people are clicking into place and the excitement is building. If you’re interested in participating in the Phoenix Author and Writer Workshops as an attendee or a speaker, please visit this page to register. We’ll be in touch!
And please share this to your author friends and publishing professionals. While not everyone lives here in the Valley of the Sun, it is a wonderful place to visit during the winter!
