When great minds think alike, the vision becomes bigger, better, faster.
Jeff Campbell, owner of Vesuvius Press and Tau Publishing in Phoenix, Arizona, has been working towards the goal of housing his vision of his printing and publishing business, a bookstore and a venue space for an author and writer community under one roof for nearly five years. The recent purchase, renovation and moving into the new location at 4806 South 40th Street checks a lot of boxes off of his To-Do list.
The next thing to do: Create an author and writer community. Offer workshops, conferences and lectures, in a welcoming space for groups to come together to share, learn and create.
Phoenix Author and Writer Workshops at Vesuvius Conference Center Exploratory Committee
Finding like-minded people to share in this vision has been an exciting adventure. During my 8 years as an author assistant and networking enthusiast, I’ve had the honor of meeting and working with some very talented people in Phoenix, Scottsdale and the surrounding valley cities.
This past Saturday, I was able to bring together a few of these special minds to share the Phoenix Author and Writer Workshops (PAWWVCC) vision. The feedback was over the top positive. Everyone was inspired by the opportunity to be a part of something they could also see as becoming a very special place for authors and writers who live and visit the valley.
