My First Library: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Toddlers love to collect things, and My First Library: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a great place to start. Based on the popular Disney characters, the collection includes the following 12 super stories:
Opposites
Picnic Time
Sizes
Shapes
Count with Us
Colors
Road Trip
Favorite Things
Animals
Go! Go! Go!
Helping Hands
Let s Grow!

Throughout the stories, Mickey and many of his friends appear, including:
Goofy
Minnie
Pluto
Donald
Daisy
Toodles
Mr. Pettibone

Many of the stories focus on helping children with developing specific skills, such as counting, comparing sizes, recognizing shapes, and identifying colors. Others help kids to distinguish between different types of animals, landscapes, and forms of transportation. Others focus on basic relationship concepts, such as friendship, teamwork, and cooperation. And, of course, all of the stories are fun.

The books are sized so that little hands can manage them easily. The set includes a carrying case with a handle, which means that your toddler will have a safe place to keep the books and can move them around easily.

The books have board pages that withstand rips and tears, and the pages are coated for easy clean-up in case of spills. Together, these books form a fun library of colorful, exciting stories for the youngest Mickey Mouse fans.

My First Library: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse conforms to the Specifications for Toy Safety of ASTM F963-07.

  1. Recommended. I was uncertain of how appropriate these would be for a true beginning reader, but my child loves Mickey right now so I gave them a chance. I’m very pleased with them.

  2. Cute little set of books First, in response to the other reviewer, I opened this set for my son, and I didn’t notice a particularly bad smell. If anything, they just smelled like a pack of baseball cards/trading cards (i.e. fresh cardboard) which makes sense given that these are board books.
