Health Promotion in Nursing Practice (6th Edition)

Health Promotion in Nurisng Practice presents a strong, up-to-date foundation for understanding and building the science and practice of health promotion. The book has three goals: to introduce the major individual and community models and theories that guide health promotion interventions; to offer evidence-based strategies for effective health promotion in practice settings; and to foster critical thinking about future opportunities for research and more effective interventions. This Sixth Edition is thoroughly updated to reflect the latest research and terminology. 1. Health Promotion in Nursing Practice I purchased this book in a Kindle edition. When I saw the sample of the book that was provided before I purchased it, I thought it would be fine. It was easy to read. However when I purchased this book as a Kindle, the font is too small to see, and the option to adjust or change the font to a larger size is not available for this book. I thought buying the Kindle edition was a good idea, but it was not.I would not recommend buying this book in the Kindle form.

  2. Great resource! This nursing textbook was required for my first class in my MSN program. What a great resource providing multifacet methods in providing health promotion and prevention for multicultural populations within all different age groups! Truly thought provoking information that will be forever used in practice! Thank you for such an intense and informational resource! Despite the hereditary factor, as a community we can continue to implement healthy living through promotion and prevention education…
