  1. Fun collection. Surprisingly consistent tone/voice across all of the … Fun collection. Surprisingly consistent tone/voice across all of the authors which is both positive (strong, concise prose, fun world-building) and can get draining (a little too quippy/clever).For me, Shaenon Garrity, Desmond Warzel, and Mike Rimar had the stories whose humor transcended the prose, keeping me chuckling after the stories ended. There are many others that strong and there’s a nice variety of settings/characters from every corner of the sci-fi world.

  2. Confined I am confined to a hospital bed 75 percent of the time, so having a series of short stories keeps my interest . The stories are not exactly the same so if I don’t like one, I just skip to the next. Before I got my tablet, I had paperbacks all over the room. Great stories by fantastic writers.

  3. Funny Science Fiction is funny science fiction This is a lot like the four Unidentified Funny Objects original anthologies only these 17 stories have been published previously. Some stories are laugh out loud funny but others are weird or unusual. All are enjoyable.
