  1. Science you can understand I am blown away by this book. Most of the world has heard of DNA but few people understand it. To those who watch CSI-type programs, it seems more like magic than science. 

  2. A must-read for any true crime nerd! I consider myself somewhat of a forensic science nerd. I’ve watched all the shows and have read more books than I can count on cold cases and forensic science. I truly enjoyed this book. What you don’t read about in many of the cold case novels is how the field came to be such an important aspect of law enforcement.
