  1. A Fresh Approach to an Old Fashioned Topic Teachers have been teaching reading, writing, and ‘rithmetic forever. As a seasoned teacher of more than 40 years, I am always looking for a better way to teach any core subject, in this case writing. Ruth Culham is a respected expert in teaching young people to write. I have seen her and read several of her books. This format allows the teacher to present materials for instruction on the interactive white board.
