  1. Extremely Useful Information The word ‘guide’ well describes this book. The specifics of a series of sessions with objectives and detailed interventions, what to expect and what traps to avoid, is invaluable. Not only has it made my counseling easier, my clients have expressed appreciation for the clear goals and direct approach.

  2. Excellent Resource for Marriage and Couples Counselors This is an easy-to-read book with an almost “can’t put it down” quality. If you are doing couples counseling, this step-by-step guide gives a framework for each session that allows you to bring the couples through each stage of the process.

  3. A MUST HAVE This book is AWESOME. I have just experienced counseling my first couple and I was not sure how to go about it exactly but this book (that I haven’t been able to put down) gave me so many pointers and ways to manage conflict, create solutions and see positive results. I strongly recommend this book to anyone that may be interested in, or find themselves quickly placed in, a couples counseling situation.
