Coloring for Grown-Ups: The Adult Activity Book

Two veterans of offbeat Internet humor hilariously combine the mindless fun of children’s coloring books with the mind-numbing realities of modern adult life

With over 200 comedy videos and 75 million Youtube views to their credit, Ryan Hunter and Taige Jensen know how to make people laugh. Their YouTube video, “Hipster Olympics” racked up nearly three million hits and quickly attained worldwide cult status, which led to opportunities to create original content for Comedy Central, MTV, College Humor,  the Huffington Post, The Onion and Slate. Now, the duo put their prolific creative talents to work in Coloring for Grown-Ups. The artwork resembles that of a children’s activity book, while actually offering an ironic look at the stereotypes, habits, and challenges of modern adulthood. Coloring for Grown-Ups includes more than 50 fun activities, such as:
* 6 Steps for Compromising Your Integrity and Goals!* “Hipster or Homeless?”* Color the Potential Terrorists!* Draw the person you thought you’d grow up to be before you abandoned all your hopes and dreams!

Darkly humorous–and fun for any occasion –Coloring for Grown-Ups is the perfect stocking stuffer for reluctant adults of any age.

  1. ” Hilarious…….. So Much More Than Coloring”………. My husband saw this advertised in “The Times” gift section and wanted it. It’s hilarious and a great conversational piece! There’s coloring, puzzles, find a word, and connect the dots. I have not seen or touched a connect a dot since I have been a child. It’s adult content, but not innappropriate. Ex: A maze with how to, “Dodge The Debt Collectors”, “Help the Homeless Man”, just so much more…..

  2. Funny, but thought provoking! I got this for my wife who was confined to bed after minor surgery and had read several books and was sick of TV. She hooted at the thought coloring and cracked up over the “connect-the-dots”. This is a great gift idea when you are visiting a sick friend who is wallowing in candy and flowers and needs a pick me up!

  3. A great coloring book! I love satire… satire + coloring = epic winI photocopied some pages and spread them out on the tables in the break room. My coworkers and I had a blast coloring them in and adding our own text. This is probably one of the most entertaining coloring books I’ve ever seen.Buy this coloring book, and invite some friends over for some “cards against humanity” and cocktails!
