Marketing Your Book
Let’s face it. Marketing your book is hard work. Sometimes, it even sucks. But what else are you going to do? You wrote it and now it would be really nice if someone, anyone, would just read it. And leave a glowing review on Amazon.
To get readers, the first one or the next one, you’re going to have to market your book. Let me repeat that: YOU will have to market your book.
That’s right, no one is going to do it for you. Not for free. Not for fun.
Why? Because book marketing is hard. And it can take a long time before the things you’re doing start to gain any kind of traction and show results.
In other words, book marketing isn’t just hard work. It’s a never ending job.
Started in 2009 as a hobby, Page Readers has focused on Indie Author promotion from the beginning. Self-Publishing was a new frontier, and like all things new, was looked down upon by the traditional methods. How things have changed!
Page Readers is still focused on the Indie Author, with some added layers. Like the publishing world, the writing world has also changed. Writers are no longer chained to a desk. Given the right tools, anyone can live their dream of writing from anywhere in the world.
While not every writer seeks to type or scribble from a different place every day, or a different place at all, all writers seek one thing: For someone to read their words.
On Page Readers, I’ll talk with Authors from all walks of life. If you’re interested in being a guest, please go here.
And, if you’re an author who would like a little help preparing for interviews, fame, and paparazzi, well, maybe just the interviews, get a copy of Be My Guest, Nail Author Interviews, Grow Your Audience and Sell More Books! on Amazon.
